New Theme for 2016-17 School Year

Date: October 19, 2016

Principal Darren Wilkins is pleased to announce the new theme chosen by our campus ministries team for the 2016-17 school year.  The theme gives our school a spiritual focus and a space for collective growth.  “I couldn’t be happier with the students’ theme choice this year, Awaken the Wonder.  What an awesome indication that our young people pa068883desire a vibrant, transcendent faith.  One that is alive and not dead.  One that is big and fathomless.  One that leads to a risen Lord.  I’m praying that SVA students and staff will find that sense of wonder this year in the daily routines of academic life as well as the big experiences of trips, study tours, service projects, and concerts” shared Principal Wilkins.

Once the theme is announced an art contest is held for those students interested and the entire school votes their design of choice.  This year’s winners were Sidney Collins (sophomore) and Brandon Wantz (4th grade). Congratulations, Sidney and Brandon, on a job well done!  Thank you for your inspiration as we invite everyone to join us in our quest to Awaken the Wonder this school year!
