PARENTS, SVA thanks you for your interest in volunteering! Whether it’s on the campus or field trips, we greatly appreciate parents getting involved. To best facilitate your interest in volunteering please complete the School Volunteer Form by clicking here.
VOLUNTEERS: In order to ensure the utmost safety for our students, every volunteer (including parents) at Spring Valley Academy (and your local Seventh-day Adventist church, if applicable) must now complete the Sterling Volunteers online training at https://www.ncsrisk.org/adventist/index.cfm? Select First Time Registrant and the online form will be self-explanatory from there. This is a two-part program will take about 35 minutes to complete, and it can be done in segments. The second part will ask you for information so a background check can be run. This background check is good for three years.
In addition, each parent and/or volunteer must fill out a School Volunteer/Driver Application Form if you plan to drive students. The form below will ask you to provide a copy of your driver’s license and proof of insurance with attached declaration page of your policy (minimum of $100,000/$300,000 liability) that can be submitted to the front office. These must be completed each year.
This is a mandate from the North American Division of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
