Spring Valley Academy sponsors a History Club for those students interested in history and its impact throughout the ages.  The History Club, under the direction of Ms. Erin Galloway, Advisor, is open to all high school students who wish to join.

In September they enjoyed a field trip to the annual Renaissance Fair in Harveysburg transporting them to a different time and era.  Currently they are doing the Adopt-a-Soldier program through Soldier's Angels, a volunteer-led 501 (c) (3) nonprofit with hundreds of thousands of volunteers providing aid and comfort to the men and women of the United States Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, veterans and their families.  They have been assigned Sgt. Justin Brunk and look forward to communicating with him and sending care packages.
