Box Tops 4 Education

The holidays are fast approaching and that means you will be doing more baking and cooking.  As you prepare your food for the holidays please make sure you take a minute to cut out the Box Tops 4 Education labels on your food products.  Each label that you save and send into the school is worth 10 cents.  [This may not seem like a lot but when you put them all together it really adds up.]  The last batch we mailed in was worth $800!

Hold onto your labels until we return to school after Christmas break.  We will hold a contest to see which classrooms bring in the most labels.  The class with the highest percentage will win a prize.  Hope you have a great holiday ...happy baking and cooking!

Scholastic Book Sale

Scholastic has a long-standing history of providing reading material for many age groups.  We were so pleased with the success of our book sale this  year...total sales exceed $1,000.00.  We loved seeing the children make wish lists, loook through books and play with the knick-knacks!  We look forward to holding this sale for many years to come and encourage you to be sure and check out the next campaign when the time comes.

Building Block & Pancake Breakfast

The Home & School Association is pleased to announce the return of our Building Block Run, Fun Run & Pancake Breakfast to be held on Sunday, April 22, beginning at 9:00 am at the school.

It has been four years since we sponsored our last 4 mile Building Block and 1 mile Fun Run events so we felt it would be great year to bring them back.  This event is open to the community for all ages.  Registration information and course routes will be forthcoming soon.

Mark your calendars now and plan to join us for a delicious breakfast and a fabulous fun-filled fitness day!

Fall Festival

Fall Fest is one of our very first fundraiser activities normally held the fourth Sunday of September each year from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.  This event is held outdoors (weather permitting) on our front campus lawn where each class/grade sponsors a food or craft booth and/or activity to raise funds for their class or club.  Last fall our total proceeds exceeded $11,000.00!  Activities include a hayride, bouncy house, kiddie train ride, and a varitey of other games and activities.  The carnival-like atmosphere coupled with a beautiful fall day is greatly anticipated each fall and thoroughly enjoyed by all!
